itunes error 5002

iTunes Match was released today in other 19 countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.

I live in Bolivia, and I immediately tried to get the service, but could not, I got this message:

Could not purchase "iTunes Match". An unknown error occurred (5002)

I've contacted via email the tech support at Apple, and in a matter of minutes I got the answer, it is because too many people is trying to subscribe to the service and their servers just can't manage the load.

I'm not really buying that, but I'll just wait and try in few more hours again, as the person from Apple suggested me.

My questions are:

  1. Are there so many people in Latin America trying to subscribe?
  2. Is Apple really unable to manage the load of the customers?

I've found different ways to solve that, like, disabling the credit card and enabling it again, but that just did not work for me, and at my back can't see the intent of transaction from Apple.

I also bought a song from iTunes just to be sure my card is working, and I got the song, and my bank saw the transaction.
