Because of my job I've been forced to live alone in another city for some months, actually since August 11th, I've been in a Hotel for some time but since October the first I am in an apartment living alone, and then able to follow the diet I prefer.

During this more than thirty days being here I have been eating mostly protein and vegetables, where:

Protein come from:

  • Canned tuna
  • Eggs
  • Chicken breast
  • Turkey breast
  • Smoked pork

Vegetables are:

  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Little amounts of corn
  • Little amounts of whole grain bread
  • Alfalfa Sprouts
  • Olives

My other source of energy comes of course from fat which is:

  • Olive oil
  • Cheese
  • Milk heavy cream (little with the morning coffee)

As it can be seen, it is high in protein, low in carbohydrates and supplemented with fats, I am also following the One hundred push ups program, actually I have already finished it and I am able to perform one hundred push ups in a row.

With this little exercise every other day, and following a good diet with low carbohydrates I have seen great improvements in my shape and overall health.

Health benefits

  • Better digestion
  • No bloating at all

Shape benefits

  • The total amount of body fat has decreased visibly
  • I can see my abs

Because of the little exercise I have not lost too much muscle on the upper body, specially pectorals and shoulders, it would surely be better if combined with squads and pull ups, but overall the results are real good, I will try to stick to this diet once at home, of course I think I should add more variety of vegetables to the diet in order to have enough vitamins and minerals.

I am writing this in case someone is still doubting about low carb high protein diets, they do work, and very well.
